The trampolines for outdoor use are becoming more and more popular. It is very handy activity, both for children and parents. Trampoline safety net, as the name suggests, is the net that comes around the trampoline, in order to prevent accidents and situations where a person can jump of the trampoline.

 Trampolines with enclosures surely do not stop people from trying various dangerous and less dangerous stunts, but they can add more security when using one. While buying the trampoline net, consider buying the one that will exactly fit the trampoline model you have. Although many manufacturers claim that the nets the produce can fit any trampoline, you should not take this claims for granted. You should take the exact measurement of your trampoline and buy the net that will perfectly fit. It is not wise to buy the one that will lie out of the frame, hence the use of trampoline safety net is also to prevent trampoline users from accidents regarding hitting the frame. So, the net should be installed inside the frame in order to ensure maximum safety.

Once you purchased trampoline safety net, it is time for installation and placement and there are some instructions you should follow. It is essential to have adequate overhead clearance with minimum distance of 7.32 meters from the ground. You should provide clearance for all the possible hazards, such as wires.  It is also essential to provide lateral clearance with minimum distance of 2.5. meters from the fences, walls and other structures. Do not use the trampoline until the enclosure is not completely assembled. If some kind of damage occurs on the trampoline net (ripping e.g.), you should not use the trampoline until the net is fixed and tested.

We have talked so far about the advantages the trampoline enclosure can bring, but there also some important disadvantages to consider. If the person jumping within the trampoline hits the rods, screws or sharp edges, the injuries can occur (although the smaller ones, such as bruises). If you bought the enclosure that has poor design, there is a chance for ever major wounds. You must also be aware that the enclosure is not almighty; it may break under the tension and pressure, so check the quality and reviews of the trampoline enclosure nets before you make your final decision. The models equipped with locks and bolts provide some extra safety so consider these while buying. Regarding their maintenance, regardless of the fact that most models are durable, you should not leave the trampoline along with its enclosure outdoor during the winter, since the cold temperature can weaken the overall structure.
