Trampoline is an interesting piece of equipment. It has so many benefits, as much it is
fun. Most people think of a trampoline as a piece of a toy that can be used to keep naughty and hyperactive kids
under control. When my fitness instructor mentioned to me that trampoline would be good equipment for me to make my
feet, and thighs strong and also to get good abs, I was a little apprehensive thinking how can jumping up and down
and when half of the work is taken care by gravity can be a good piece of fitness equipment. Sensing my
apprehension he smiled and said that I should just check it out.
So, I bought myself a trampoline, they are available in many sizes like 6ft, 8ft, 10ft, 12ft and many more. I decided to get myself an 8ft trampoline which was suitable for my small backyard garden. At first exercise didn’t
even cross my mind, all I wanted to do was to do try some of the crazy stunts and flips that I had seen on TV,
and show it to my friends and get some accolades. So I started practicing and after a few hours on the
trampoline I was able to do a back flip. I was pretty impressed with myself. The next day when I woke up, my abs
were paining I was pretty amazed as I never used to workout; then I understood that it was the effect of that
8ft trampoline. I found out that jumping up and down was a very good exercise to work out my abs.
So the next day I researched the Internet and talked to my instructor and
found out that there are many exercise that one can do on a trampoline that can be used to work out various
parts of your lower body and abs. There are various routines available that you can do, but you should try not
to go too overboard as you can seriously hurt yourself, if you fall of it. Then I saw the benefits of the size
I was using 8ft was just perfect, it was neither too small that I would fall off it and it was nether too big
that It would not fit in your background and not much of a hassle to take it from one place to another.
Other benefits that you get from a trampoline are a stronger
immune system, improved metabolism and higher energy levels than before and other important health benefits.
Its always a good idea to have someone experienced with you or a spotter, like a friend or a partner when you
are using the trampoline for the first time as there will always be someone looking when you near the edge of
that trampoline. Someone experienced will provide you with different routines and exercises that are useful
and do your body a whole lot of good. While buying a trampoline, always check what weight it supports and
check it before buying and make sure its functioning properly and does not have any loose ends, as you can
seriously break a bone if that trampoline is faulty.
